Theresa Dextrase R.M.T.

“I consider healing to be a process of discovery in daily life; our session work will complement this.”

Since 1998, Theresa has brought a broad experience base to bodywork with Therapeutic Massage, Trager®, Reflexology,  and various types of movement training.  She is currently enrolled in a seven-year professional manual therapy program with the Canadian College of Osteopathy finishing in 2014. Theresa is a Certified Trager Practitioner with Trager Canada and a Registered Massage Therapist with Natural Health Practitoners of Canada. Her current career also includes work as a professional contemporary dancer, movement instructor, and childbirth support as a Doula.

Dana Miller

Dana is a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta (MTAA). Since 1994 she has had the privilege to study and teach at Grant MacEwan University in the massage therapy department as well as other local and international schools. She brings extensive experience to her massage practice and offers therapeutic, relaxation and pre/postnatal massage as well as Traditional Thai Massage. Dana strives to help her clients experience greater joy and balance in their daily lives by offering treatments that are focused on their specific needs.

As the owner of Awakening Within, Dana is given opportunities daily to grow personally and professionally and is thankful for the many individuals who have walked the path with her to create such a healing environment.
